Step 1 – REGISTRATION & Application Submission (From YOU to ICONS)

Once invited, download your ICONS PLATINUM “APPLICATION FORM & INSTRUCTIONS”, together with the “CANDIDATE PRESENTATION TEMPLATE” and follow the instructions. In filling-inn the forms we ask you to be as specific, succinct, and explicit as possible. We will not consider incomplete applications. Submit your application! In this initial pitch focus on the business concept, the project synopsis, the idea, the reason for finance requirement and the people behind it.

Step 2 – INITIAL REVIEW (From ICONS to YOU)

Once your application is submitted, we will perform an initial screening to ensure your idea, project, business proposition or innovative concept is within our scope of interest. A carefully filled-out application will help you progress immensely. Should we have questions, we will contact you. The time required for this initial review for the Business Idea Validation on behalf of the investors depends on the project. It is however contained in about 2 weeks time. IMPORTANT: We will answer all applications sent in Step 1 and communicate the result of the application.

Step 3 –Non Circumvent – Non Disclosure Agreement (From ICONS to YOU)

If “Step 1” is successfully passed we will proceed in signing a “Non Circumvent – Non Disclosure Agreement” (NC-NDA) to protect your interests and your idea from being copied or misused in any way. Your data will be kept safe and secure at all times, nevertheless, at ICONS we strive for Excellence and we treasure your peace of mind in submitting sensitive data and therefore want to give you this extra guarantee. Instructions will always be sent to you as you advance in the application process. From now on you will be assigned a personal “MENTOR” to guide you through the final phases to success.

Step 4 – Detailed project outline & executive summary (From YOU to ICONS)

After the Non Circumvent – Non-Disclosure Agreement is signed and exchanged we will require you to send us the following:

• Investment – Project / Idea in depth presentation;
• Executive summary.

Instructions will be sent to each candidate that will qualify.

Step 5 – IN-PERSON PITCH (Live presentation & meeting)

Should your company / idea pass the Step 4 review stage, you will be invited to present in person at a screening committee meeting in which you will meet a rose of selected investors within the pool of our Venture Capital and Angel investors! At this meeting we encourage you to focus on the essentials in this pitch: Proof of concept, financials, IP, goals for funds raised, and exits (if applicable).

Step 6 – MEMBERS PRESENTATION (Exchange & technical insights)

If the committee decides to proceed, a series of due diligence exchanges with various members and the entrepreneurs will take place (further exchanges of details with Investors). If these exchanges go well, you will be invited to present to a larger body of ICONS members at a special member’s dinner in which the final investors will be revealed! A “Letter Of Interest” (LOI) will be handed over to you within this phase.

Step 7 – DUE DILIGENCE (Finalization)

Following Step 6, a due diligence luncheon is scheduled where members can go deeper into questions/answers (Q&A). If there is sufficient member interest, ICONS will proceed with financing your business concept, idea or finance requirement. In this step there will be a Terms Sheets handover and “Terms & Conditions” exchanged will be finalized and signed. Al legal matters will be addressed and finalized in this phase.

Step 8 – RELEASE of FUNDING

Once the above steps have been completed and your idea or project has been granted the requested resources, funding will be released. Funds will be transferred to the mutually agreed party entitled to receive funds in full compliance with the standing international money transfer rules and regulations.

Although we cannot guarantee funding for all the applications we receive, we underline that we pose no boundaries for sectors, industry, location, country, value, type of funding or license. The limits for funding are dictated by the project itself, its presentation and its potential. The investment committee coordinates an extensive due diligence activity that provides an insight on the potential success and the feasibility of the projects that require funding. We strive to offer a comprehensive platform of investors that address the needs of the applicants. ICONS success is reliant on the applicants success and the release of funds.
